CROCHET PATTERN for Froggy Amigurumi Soft Sculpture
Andbutso as you may know, Sugar Pop Crochet plushies are sold at several art boutiques and one of my favorites is the Animal Artisans Shop. On the shelf where my items are displayed, Joyce, the lovely owner, has placed a sign that reads, "Plushies are for People." Not only is this sign giggle-inducing and patently adorable, it truly captures the essence of everything I do! There is simply no better way to say it! Plushies are not just for kids, they are not just for babies, they are not just for *fill in the blank.* They're for people! And! I feel the very same way about picture books! Picture books are for people! One of my very favorite picture books (which I read aloud to each of my very favorite people) is And Here's to You, by David Elliot, Illustrated by Randi Cecil. My favorite page is (naturally) the frog page! Because, I simply love frogs! And I crocheted this Froggy plushy to celebrate their cuteness! Crochet along with my step-by-step easy-to-follow pattern and make your own amigurumi Froggy! I used all my most super-secret cuteness-producing techniques to give him extra bulgy eyes, a super plump face, and cute froggy feet! "Here's to the frogs!"
